The Benefits of A Bootcamp Style Workout

North San Antonio Stroller Strides will soon be offering specialty bootcamp classes on Tuesdays at McAllister Park. On the HealthMad blog, Dr. Kristie Leong explains why boot camp classes are so effective.

If you’ve ever experienced a weight loss plateau, you realize how your body can adjust to a diet and fitness program and stall your weight loss efforts. Despite the fact that you watch what you eat and walk daily, those stubborn pounds just won’t seem to budge. Although walking, if done at a rapid pace, is a good fat burning workout, sometimes you need to shake up your fitness routine to start seeing results again. One way to do this is with bootcamp workouts.

Weekly Bootcamp classes begin Tueaday, July 8th. A preview specialty class will be held tomorrow June 18th at McAllister Park at 9:30 AM.
